The cost of film cleaning is included in the transfer price and helps to preserve the film for long term storage.
8mm film transfer to digital is carried out on a film scanner that copies every frame of your 8mm movie in 1080 High Definition to achieve the highest quality. Our scanning method records all the data in every frame of the film. An average order has 1000 captured frames per minute, which are digitally compiled and colour corrected.

Once your film has been scanned to a digital file, it may still contain multiple scratches and dust particles embedded in the film surface. Film stock can also appear grainy due to exposure settings on the camera as seen on the left of this split screen example. Using specialist software we can reduce those imperfections while preserving details to enhance your film, as can be seen on the right hand side.

A quick and easy way to view your films if you have an older television and a DVD player. We use high-quality Verbatim Discs with HardCoat Scratch Guard and then print directly onto the disc with any information you provide.
