Color slide images can turn pink due to a phenomenon called color shift or fading. This can be caused by factors like aging of the photographic materials, exposure to light or heat, or improper storage conditions. Over time, the dyes in the slide film can degrade, leading to a shift in colour balance towards the pink spectrum.
To restore colour to pink-tinted colour slide images, we digitise the slides using a high-quality scanner, then use photo editing software to adjust the colour balance. Correct the pink hue by shifting the color temperature or using tools like "curves" or "colour balance" to restore the original colors.

Our equipment is clean. Your slides had dirt on them. We do not do slide cleaning. There is too much risk of damaging your slides. We don't like the dirt any more than you do. If your slides are clean, you will end up with a clean image. We will however use soft photographic brushes and air blowers to remove light dust from the surface of the image.
